Genetic Choices
We have produced in excess of 180 bulls from the following bloodlines: Bando 598, OB45, Xpo, Traveler 8180, Traveler 71, Vermilion Dateline, Leachman Right Time, Hyline Right Time 338 and Papa Equator 2928.
Current line of bulls are sons of Hazeldean Renaissance, Te Mania Yorkshire, Te Mania Berkley, Bando 9074 and Hyline Right Time 338.
Priorities
1) fertility, calving ease
2) growth, carcass and high marbling
Special attention is given to the production of heifer bulls.
These bulls are low in birth weight, high in calving ease and they are smooth shouldered. The dams are donors with proven calving ease history. The sires are chosen from the top 1% of the breed in calving ease. A heifer bull is not just any bull with rock bottom figures!
Our standards.
All our bulls are DNA and parent verified. All are footscored (independent assessor). All are weighed at birth. All are AM, NH and CA tested. All bulls are examined by a Vet and their semen is tested. All bulls are grass fed only.
