BROWN THORNBILL COTTAGE Brown Thornbill is a self-contained retreat in a semi circular structure. Ceiling is at 4.5 metre height. It has an unusual sense of volume. Like a very modern cavern. Yet classic French doors open towards paddocks with grazing cattle. The cottage faces north with warm afternoon light and stunning sunsets. Brown Thornbill is tailored for two.

The spacious living area has a slow combustion wood fire and extra oil heaters. The heavy country table is handcrafted from red box. A TV, VCR and CD/DVD player are provided for your entertainment. A phone allows you to make local calls, take incoming calls and access internet connection. The kitchen is in recycled oregon timber and has an integrated fridge, Smeg oven and cooktop and tea and coffee making facilities. Provisions are available in nearby Moss Vale or Bowral.

An outdoor setting on the terrace offers an al fresco breakfast on sunny mornings. A gas barbecue is available. A king size bed (with electric blanket) on the upper level is reached by a circular staircase. All linen is provided. The modern bathroom has electric towel dryers and a hairdryer. There is also a Bosch washing machine, dryer, and ironing facility. An extra luxury is the private cedar lined sauna. This is a dry Scandinavian sauna, ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon.
