ECHIDNA COTTAGE. Echidna Cottage is a newly renovated 20th century farm homestead flanked by two large verandahs. Facing north, the living area is 12 metres long. Set in its own private garden, Echidna Cottage offers accommodation for two. The living room has a slow combustion fire (wood provided), polished timber floors and windows on 3 sides with 180 degree views of valley farmlands. A TV, VCR and CD/DVD player are provided as is phone and internet connection access.

The peace and quiet of the setting of Echidna Cottage can be enjoyed while relaxing on the verandahs, or enjoying an al fresco breakfast. A gas barbecue is also provided. A heavy country table of handcrafted, sustainable New Guinea timber is a feature of the room. At one end, the generous farmhouse kitchen has fridge/freezer, electric oven and cooktop and tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen has all items for a short or long stay. Provisions are available from nearby Moss Vale or Bowral.

The large bedroom has a King bed with electric blanket and extra oil heating. Two sofa beds in the lounge provide for extra accommodation if required. The modern ensuite has electric towel dryers and hairdryer. There is also another separate WC. All linen is supplied. A laundry has a Miele washing machine, dryer, and ironing facility. Echidna Cottage is close to walking trails in Morton National Park.
