POSSUMS COTTAGE
Possums Possums offers accommodation for one or two couples in a typical Australian country house.
All rooms open onto a classic broad verandah with jarrah decking.

The sun rises on the verandah overlooking Morton National Park and sunset will be enjoyed on the verandah overlooking the valleys of the farm.
The original cottage, built at the turn of the 19th century, was situated 1.5 kilometres away.
Stunning trees still grow on the old site: a large conifer, an English oak, a rare plum tree with unforgettable plums.

Master bedroom After being dismantled and carried on horseback to its present location, the cottage was reassembled and extended.
The main wall of the master bedroom dates back to the turn of the century. This timber wall has been left as it was.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with doona and electric blanket.

The bathroom (shared by the two bedrooms) is in recycled oregon timber. It has a shower and vanity.
It is also equipped with hair dryer and ironing facilities.
The electric towel rack wiill keep your towels warm and dry. (All linen supplied.)
There is a separate WC, and a separate laundry with Bendix washer-drying machine.

An extra luxury is a cedar lined sauna.
This is a dry Scandinavian sauna, ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon.

Bathroom

Sunrise For Possums timber was a priority.
The floor is in warm honey coloured cypress.
The dining table is a large country table specially handcrafted from stringy bark milled on the property.
The soft colour of the stringy bark is echoed in the mountain ash used for the coffee table and the side table (on which you will find the TV, Video and CD player.)
The living room with its open kitchen are the perfect place to entertain in the country, or to relax quietly by the slow combustion wood fire (wood supplied).

Tariff: (inc. GST) - Minimum stay is 2 nights*

Weekend: $450 (2 persons/2 nights)

Midweek special: $350 (2 persons/Tue & Wed nights)

extra nights $160.00 (2 persons/per night)
* Single nights only when available.
Arrangements can be made for children - please enquire on booking. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage. We regret pets are not allowed on this Cattlecare farm.
